Online Boutique Critique - The Baby Gardner - Vintage Inspired Originals for Little Ones

Could this hand-made baby rattle BE any cuter? I am always on the lookout for new online boutiques from which to find lovely fashions and accessories for little princesses and every once in a while I come across an absolute gem and this is one of them - The Baby Gardner - Vintage Inspired Originals for Little Ones. The Petit Bebe Soft Baby Rattle is definitely inspired in it's engineering (loving that they stuff a soft baby sock and then sew in a couple of little jingly bells for a sweet ringing sound ) and those embroidered eyelashes are so cute. A perfect and unique gift for a newborn princess - this online boutique is a definite 5 stars from me. I strongly recommend you check out their other items - I plan on featuring some more of their gift wear in future posts. Happy vintage shopping!

Look! It's Emme from the Block

We have been waiting a while now to see more of little Emme Maribel Muniz and here she is. Otherwise known as Baby J-Lo and daughter of singers Jennifer Lopez and Marc Antony, Emme looks very cute in her Osh Kosh Infant Girls Floral Lace Tunic Top, available from Target's online US boutique. It is from the same story as the dress Stella McDermott wore to her brother's birthday party in March. In these economic times, it's great to see celebrities choosing a less expensive alternative that regular mums can follow

Baby Gap sure know how to do a cute sun dress - check out Suri Cruise in one of their new summer creations - the Sunflower Tank Dress. Suri looks like she is growing out her fringe - or should I say, bangs for my northern friends ; )

65 Roses Day - Cystic Fibrosis

Today is 65 Roses Day - a day of national awareness for the debilitating condition cystic fibrosis. This cause is close to my heart as I had a friend pass away from this genetic condition 15 years ago. Due to advancements in medical technology, the life expectancy for a person with CF is now in the mid thirties, however my friend made it to her late thirties, which at the time was amazing, along with the fact that she also gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, which was such a wonderful miracle back then as well. The lovely story behind the name "65 Roses" is that of a little boy who had a sister with CF and could not pronounce her condition properly, instead telling people his sister had "65 Roses". Snuggle Sweet Pea Pod - a great first toy snuggly for baby and beyond

Every child has a toy they love and have had since they were a little baby and though probably worn and dirty, you could not bear to part with it on your child's behalf. Gigi has a toy bunny that is called M&M, and a Play School Jemima Ballerina doll. Lulu has the Anne Geddes Baby Bunny and this gorgeous Snuggle Sweet Pea Pod by Manhattan Toys, which is obviously a favourite of little Violet Anne Affleck. We bought ours from the Australian online boutique Urban Baby though they are currently out of stock. US retailer Barnes & Noble have them in their online store

According to statistics, breast cancer occurs in one in nine Australian women. You are probably wondering why there is no current photo of gorgeous Harlow Winter Kate Madden wearing these Puma Future Cat Crib Sneakers in White Pot Pourri or also why we are using an old photo referencing this C&C California Zebra Print outfit she also wore back in January. It is simple - I am a mother and like Nicole Ritchie & Joel Madden, would be disgusted if a photographer stuck a camera in my child's face to the point that she was terrified. Via his Twitter account, Joel expressed his disgust of the papps in Miami this past week:

I have to say, I completely agree. As a result, though I have seen the photos on other blogs, I will not be using them as per Joel's request but still wanted to let you know how cute Harlow looked, despite the obvious confusion and fright that was on her beautiful little face. As always on my blog, the aim is to follow celebrity baby fashions and I will never use such images that I feel have been taken intrusively or without good conscience. I took this stance on the Suri birthday party photos and I maintain that stance for future posts

Looking absolutely stunning in this evening gown with her ever so subtle baby bump, supermodel Heidi Klum attended the "The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion" Costume Institute Gala Ball in New York City on Monday at the Met. This is my new favourite maternity evening gown, closely followed by Kimora's gown we showed you in February. Like I would ever go anywhere to where it.... : )
