When I came across this image of the 50th Birthday edition of the Fisher Price Farm house, I took a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Who doesn't remember this toy? My sister and I played with ours all the time until we were about 10 years old - no Nintendo or Wii back then! I remember loving to attach the trailer to the tracker and hooning around the lounge room. Or bridling up the horse to the trailer to drag the dog around. I distinctly remember the soft nose of the sheep and how I chewed mine like a dummy - I even strangely recall the taste of that soft rubber. Weird huh? My sister and I would dip the cow and the horse heads into the troughs to feed and I can still hear the sound of the cows as you opened the farm house doors. We used to sit the chicken and rooster on the posts of the fences and I think someone even broke off my farmer's hat. I would love to get my hands on one of these sets for my girls - I recall many wonderful hours of fun and imagination with my 1970's version!

A trip down memory lane with Fisher Price - Little People 50th Birthday Play & Go Farm

Twice in one week - those adorable little Spanish Princesses - Infanta Leonor & Infanta Sophia in another delightful little dress
So many dresses, so little time! A week ago I had never before seen these gorgeous little Spanish royal sisters and here they are again in another delightful little dress. Infanta Leonor & Infanta Sophia of Spain are seen here at a sailing event in Palma wearing a white waffle weave sundress with a lace ribbon trim and lilac satin bow. They are wearing the same little sandals they were wearing last week with their hot pink sundresses. If I have any Spanish friends out there, please, please help me out with the source of these beautiful dresses : )

Clone Zone - Here is the proof! Shiloh shares her brother Maddox's wardrobe - like every little sister does : )
As I predicted in my earlier post, Shiloh was possibly wearing a pair of camo pants that belonged to one of her brothers and here we have it - Maddox wearing the pants himself! And why not? All brothers and sisters share their clothes - don't they? Ask Lulu - she gets a second round of Gigi's old fashions all the time ; )
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt rocks her camouflage pants - American Eagle 77 Kids
Possibly a hand-me-down from big brothers Maddox or Pax, Shiloh Joile-Pitt looks uber-cute in her camos - we found a pair at American Eagle 77 Kids - the belted camo cargo pants. Looks like older sister Zahara, also seen here on a shopping trip with yummy mummy Angelina Jolie, is wearing black Havianas with her black jeans - super cute sisters : )
Pretty Princesses - Infanta Leonor & Infanta Sophia of Spain
Has there ever been two cuter actual little princesses? Sisters Infanta Leonor, 3 & Infanta Sophia, 2, daughters of Crown Prince Felipe & Princess Letizia of Spain looked absolutely adorable in their matching pink dresses on an outing to the Saint Mary of Valencia Cathedral. I would love to know the origin of these dresses so please email me if you have those details : )

Matilda Ledger - one year on from the passing of her father, Australian actor Heath Ledger
On my recent trip to the US, I bought Lulu these cute little red flower sunglasses from Gymboree. They reminded me of the ones worn by Matilda Ledger in one of the last photos taken with her father, the late actor Heath Ledger, who coincidentally passed away one year ago today. Oscar nominations will be announced in about an hours time and Heath appears to be a certainty for a posthumous nomination for his wonderful performance in The Dark Knight. Over the past year we have watched Matilda out and about with her mummy, actress Michelle Williams and we have blogged about her style. We particularly love her hats and overcoats, perfect for the cold winter conditions in her home town of New York City (please take note TomKat!). Our thoughts and prayers are with Matilda and her family on this anniversary of Heath's untimely passingUPDATE: This morning Heath was indeed nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in The Dark Knight. He is surely the sentimental favourite, despite the fact that without a doubt he gave an outstanding performance. We are keeping our fingers and toes crossed for his family, and particularly little Matilda Rose

Gigi & Lulu at the Sydney Opera House in Biscotti
Just before Christmas I took Gigi & Lulu to the Sydney Opera House for a performance of I Wanna Be A Mermaid by fantastic ensemble musical group, Coco's Lunch. The girls had a great time - they even got to sample some of the percussion instruments with the cast following the performance. It was also a time to reflect on the death of the visionary architect who designed the Sydney Opera House, Jorn Utzon, who had passed away only a few weeks earlier. Gigi is shown above signing the tribute book which is to be sent to his family in Denmark. On a fashion note, Gigi is wearing a beautiful little dress by Biscotti, a label favoured by the new first family of the USA. Lulu is wearing a hand made, smocked dress given to us by a lovely elderly friend of my family. Don't they both look adorable : )

Brooke Shields' daughters Rowan & Grier - a gorgeous photo
For those of you that haven't picked up on it yet, I just love being mum to two little princesses and one of the things that puts a smile on my face is moments like this: The picture above is of actress Brooke Shields' two little girls - Rowan, 5 and Grier, 2 in a photo shoot for Cookie Magazine in the US. It is a delightful moment captured between two sisters and the gentle way that Rowan touches Grier's chin makes your heart melt. I have caught Gigi on many occasions caressing Lulu's cheek when she is upset or another time she was sitting down and teaching her how to count - priceless moments that you cherish forever. Enough of the soppy stuff - there is another reason I posted this picture - the dresses! Rowan is wearing a gorgeous red Bonnie Young dress in crinkle chiffon from her Fall08 collection and Grier wears a Phillip Lim capelet dress with rhinestone detailingSource: Baby Chic 101, Dec 01, 2008
